SeeLesungen (Summer Lecture Series)

The annual summer readings at Schwedtsee in Ravensbrück invite you to experience the history of the former women's concentration camp in a special and intimate way. Actors perform memoirs, correspondence and literary texts about Ravensbrück and related topics for a wider audience.

The event offers an informal setting in which visitors can engage with the history of the site. In the unique setting of Lake Schwedt, the texts become an immersive experience that opens up space for reflection and dialogue.

Whether personal stories from survivors, impressive correspondence or literary adaptations of the past - the readings create a connection between past and present that touches and inspires.

Admission is free and all interested parties are welcome. You will find the exact dates and further information on the readings here soon.
