Accessibility

A visit to the Ravensbrück Memorial is only possible for people with impaired vision and walking, but especially for wheelchair users, if they are accompanied. The necessary protection of the historical site, its buildings and museums limits our possibilities for structural changes. We can therefore only guarantee barrier-free access to a limited extent. We are working on improving the situation and ask for your understanding.

The main exhibition is accessible by wheelchair via a lift on all floors.

Accessible restrooms are located in the Visitor Information Centre, in the main exhibition and in the garages. Wheelchairs can be borrowed from the Visitor Information Centre.
