Accessibility

The Ravensbrück Memorial Museum is a historic site with listed buildings and extensive outdoor grounds. Structural changes are therefore only possible to a limited extent, and a fully accessible visit cannot currently be guaranteed. Here you will find the most important information for planning your visit. We are working to improve accessibility step by step.

Visiting with limited mobility or vision

Not all areas of the grounds and buildings are accessible without assistance. An accompanying person can make the visit easier.

The main exhibition is wheelchair accessible: a lift serves all floors. You can borrow a wheelchair at the visitor information centre.

Accessible toilets

Accessible toilets are located in the visitor information centre, in the main exhibition and in the former garages.
