In cooperation with the association Brückenschlag Fürstenberg e.V., the Ravensbrück Memorial Museum invites you to a presentation of the SPIEGEL bestseller “Rote Linien – Wie das Bundesverfassungsgericht die Demokratie schützt” (German edition; Red Lines – How the Federal Constitutional Court Protects Democracy). Susanne Baer, former judge of the Federal Constitutional Court and professor at Humboldt University of Berlin, offers a personal insight into the work of the Court and discusses how it protects democracy. more

On 17 May 2025, museums and memorial sites around the world will mark International Museum Day, highlighting their role as places of education, remembrance and research. To mark the occasion, the Ravensbrück Memorial Museum invites visitors to join a public guided tour. The tour will be held in German. more

14. June - 20. June 2026 – all day

In June 2026, the international and interdisciplinary remembrance and performance project “Sound in the Silence – Raise Your Voice” returns to the Ravensbrück Memorial Museum. In this edition, students from Freie Universität Berlin and Coburg University of Applied Sciences and Arts will develop a performance together with artists from various disciplines. more

2 August is the European Day of Remembrance for Sinti and Roma persecuted and murdered under National Socialism. To mark this day of remembrance, the Ravensbrück Memorial Site is commemorating the history of the persecution and murder of Sinti and Roma with a programme of events. more

The 18th European Summer University will take place from 31 August to 4 September 2026 at the Ravensbrück Memorial Museum under the title ‘Camps – Spaces – Neighbours. Concentration Camps and their Surroundings’. more

13. September 2026 – all day

On 13 September, the Ravensbrück Memorial Museum will take part in the nationwide Day of Open Monuments with a special guided tour. Participation is free of charge. The tour will be held in German only. more
