In the Weaving Mill on the former Industrial Estate (“Industriehof”) of the Ravensbrück Memorial Museum, Dominique Hurth presents a two-part artistic intervention on the largely unexplored textile history of the Ravensbrück Women's Concentration Camp. more

From Saturday morning to Sunday morning, the names of the victims of the Ravensbrück Concentration Camp will be read out over 24 hours at the site of the former camp gate. more

Since June 2023, the Ravensbrück Memorial Museum has been working on an online exhibition dedicated to the history of the men's camp and the experiences of those imprisoned there. more

The open-air exhibition on the former Camp Grounds presents 20 biogra- phies on historic sites, highlighting self-assertion, courage, and solidarity in seemingly hopeless situations. After the opening, curators Dr Andrea Genest and Jeanette Toussaint will give a guided tour. more

On May 18, 2025, International Museum Day will take place. On this day, museums and memorial sites worldwide open their doors to highlight their significance as places of education, remembrance, and research. The Ravensbrück Memorial Museum is taking part with a public guided tour. Please note that the public guided tour will be held in German only. more

How do we remember the unspeakable? How do we tell stories that must be passed on? The Theater Youth Club Ensemble Angestrahlt brings a powerful production to the stage with Some Things I Know, but I Don’t Remember. Inspired by the life of Emmie Arbel, who survived Ravensbrück concentration camp as a child, this performance explores how memories remain alive. A thought-provoking engagement with the past and the present. Premiere on June 12, 2025, at Theater Strahl and on July 13 at the Ravensbrück Memorial. The new online exhibition "A Few Barracks Further" sheds light on the lesser-known history of the men imprisoned within the Ravensbrück concentration camp complex. Through 30 personal biographies, it traces stories of forced labor, survival, resistance, and liberation. Please note: The event will take place in German. The online exhibition will be available in both German and English. more
