Very high temperatures are expected over the coming days. Please note that large parts of the Ravensbrück Memorial Museum grounds are exposed to direct sunlight. In addition, not all buildings are air-conditioned.

To help protect yourself from the heat, we recommend that you:

• bring plenty of drinking water,
• wear a hat or other head covering,
• use sunscreen,
• bring a sun umbrella or umbrella if needed,
• take regular breaks in the shade, especially during longer visits.

Please take the weather conditions into account when planning your visit and pay attention to your personal well-being.

Please also note:

Due to the high temperatures, the Visitor Information Centre will operate with temporary opening hours on Saturday, 27 June, and Sunday, 28 June 2026. On both days, it will close at 3:00 p.m.
