Sonderausstellung "Kinder im KZ Bergen-Belsen" bis 31. März 2019 verlängert

Die Sonderausstellung "Kinder im KZ Bergen-Belsen" ist noch einen Monat länger zu sehen. Die von der Gedenkstätte Bergen-Belsen erarbeitete Ausstellung stellt anhand von Einzelschicksalen die spezifischen Lebensbedingungen und Verhaltensformen von Kindern in einem Konzentrationslager dar. Mehr als 4.300 Frauen und Kinder wurden aus dem KZ Ravensbrück nach Bergen Belsen deportiert, darunter auch Ivan Lefkovits und Ceija Stojka, die in der Ausstellung porträtiert werden. more

Special exhibition "Children in Bergen-Belsen Concentration Camp" extended until 31 March 2019

The special exhibition "Children in Bergen-Belsen Concentration Camp" can be seen for one month longer. The exhibition, developed by the Bergen-Belsen Memorial, uses individual fates to present the specific living conditions and forms of behaviour of children in a concentration camp. More than 4,300 women and children were deported from Ravensbrück concentration camp to Bergen Belsen, including Ivan Lefkovits and Ceija Stojka, who are portrayed in the exhibition. more

Employee of the Ravensbrück Memorial was honoured by the town of Fürstenberg for her voluntary work

On the occasion of Volunteer Day, Fürstenberg's mayor Robert Philipp honoured ten volunteers. Among them is Dr Sabine Arend, who has been an employee of the Ravensbrück Memorial for ten years and has lived in the water town for five years. more
