Conversation with a Holocaust Survivor at the Ravensbrück Memorial

The talk will be held in German and simultaneously translated into English.
Ivan Lefkovits was deported to Ravensbrück in 1944 together with his mother and elder brother Pavol. Pavol was killed in the camp, their father had been murdered in Budapest. The SS sent Ivan and his mother to the Bergen-Belsen Concentration Camp where both were liberated by the British Army in 1945.
Ivan Lefkovits will speak about his experience and memories. The conversation will be led by Lea L. Fink (Ravensbrück Memorial Museum)
Due to high demand, this event will not take place at the Fürstenberg/Havel train station, but in the “Tent of Encounter” at the Ravensbrück Memorial Museum.
