Youth Encounters
The International Youth Meeting Centre | Ravensbrück Youth Hostel hosts a wide range of youth encounters, fostering dialogue, learning, and international exchange.
In cooperation with initiatives such as Service Civil International (SCI) and the Association of Young Volunteers (VJF), the Ravensbrück Memorial Museum organises international work camps every summer. These two-week camps bring together young people from across the globe to explore the history of the camp complex, translate foreign-language texts, and contribute to maintenance projects on the memorial grounds.
The Ravensbrück Memorial Museum also provides an ideal setting for German-Polish youth encounters within the Paths to Remembrance programme of the German-Polish Youth Office (DPJW), and is a partner of Tandem | Coordination Centre for German-Czech Youth Exchange.
The Ravensbrück Memorial Museum welcomes new ideas and partnerships that support youth engagement and cross-cultural dialogue.
