The Ravensbrück Memorial has a reference library covering the history of the Ravensbrück women’s concentration camp, the Moringen and Lichtenburg camps, and the Uckermark ‘juvenile protective custody camp’, as well as women’s and gender studies issues. Monographs in German and other languages on the history of the Ravensbrück camp and published first-hand accounts and biographies of former prisoners, some of which appeared as early as the end of the 1940s, make up a unique and valuable sub-collection in the library.
Some of the holdings in the Ravensbrück Memorial Library can be researched using the joint online catalogue of the Memorial Libraries Working Group (AGGB).
