04. July 2025

Written by Freya Ziegelitz

Based on the question of how the explicit examination of perpetrators under National Socialism and in the concentration camps should have a place in memorial sites, the 17th European Summer University is dedicated to the topic of Nazi perpetration. The Research Exchange is looking for young researchers who are working on a project in the thematic field of this year's European Summer University or on various aspects of the history of the former Ravensbrück women's concentration camp.

The five-day European Summer University programme is aimed at an interdisciplinary group of academics, students, practitioners from the memorial site sector and interested parties. It is intergenerational, interdisciplinary and takes up questions of gender research. The programme includes lectures, guided tours and workshops.

For the Research Exchange, we are looking for young researchers who are working on a project in the subject area of this year's European Summer University or on various aspects of the history of the former Ravensbrück women's concentration camp.
