Stiftung Brandenburgische Gedenkstätten Mahn‑ und Gedenkstätte Ravensbrück

Library

The Ravensbrück Memorial Museum houses a reference library covering the history of the Ravensbrück, Moringen and Lichtenburg women's concentration camps, of the Ravensbrück satellite camps and the men's camp as well as the ‘Uckermark youth protection camp’ and on topics relating to women's and gender studies. The German and foreign-language monographs on the history of the Ravensbrück camp and the published first-hand accounts and biographies of former prisoners, some of which appeared as early as the end of the 1940s, make up a valuable part of the collection.

Selected items from the Ravensbrück Library can be researched in the joint catalogue of the Memorial Libraries Working Group (AGGB).
