Charity Event: Greek Prisoners of the Ravensbrück Women's Concentration Camp

28. November 2025 – 17:00 - 19:00 Uhr

This year's charity event, organised in cooperation with the Embassy of the Hellenic Republic and the International Friends of Ravensbrück Memorial Museum Association (Internationaler Freundeskreis e.V.), focuses on the Greek women who were imprisoned in Ravensbrück Women's Concentration Camp.

Historian Leon Saltier, representative of the World Jewish Congress at the United Nations, historian Fani Marina Papoulia and Eleni Winckel, member of the International Ravensbrück Committee for Greece, will trace the occupation of Greece and the lives of the women who were imprisoned in Ravensbrück.

The evening will be framed by reports from the International Friends Association and the Ravensbrück Memorial Museum on their current work. The proceeds from donations on this evening will go towards the restoration of objects that have been on display in the Ravensbrück cell building for decades.
