Our project days are a popular choice, especially for school groups. They combine a 120-minute overview tour with time for independent exploration in the exhibitions, supported by materials developed by the memorial. These resources help participants to explore themes such as Arrival, Biographies, Children in the Camp, Neighbours, Perpetrators, and Forced Labour.
We are happy to offer project days in German, English, French, and Dutch using interactive and participatory teaching methods. This allows groups to engage actively with the history of Ravensbrück and to focus on aspects most relevant to them.
We recommend allowing at least four and a half hours for a project day. Some topics can also be introduced in the classroom before your visit.
Please contact us well in advance so that we can design a programme tailored to your group’s needs, and register no later than six weeks before your preferred date.
